about the Characters;

Precious: A teenager who gets kicked out of her high school. Even though she was passing her classes she was kicked out and put in an alternative school. Her home life is a HUGE problem for her and she struggles throughout the movie with prolems at home. Precious isn't a normal teenager though she has gotten preganent once by her father and then a second time during the whole time she was pregnaent she didn't see a doctor. She also had wieght probloms and she couldn't read.

Mary: Precious mother, she was a mean stuck up women she didn't care about anyone but herself and if precious would dare stick up for herself she would get a whipping by her. She doesn't care about the childeren her daughter has she only thinks about how precious took away the man of her life which is precious  father her nothing thinking she always held it against precious what she did even though precious did nothing.

Ms. Rain: She was the nicest women you could ever meet. She loved to teach and this was precious's teacher at the alternative school. She taught precious and the girls in her class how to read write and everything else you need to know in a normal school. Her life is her job though and that really shines through.

Mrs. Weiss: the socal worker she sees for money. She breaks precious in a way shes needed to be broke she tried to be nice but her job isn't easy. She broke through to precious though by having her tell the truth about her home life and what really goes on in the end she helps by having a meeting with precious and her mother.

storyline:

Precious is a teenager who doesn't have a normal life. Her mom is a wake job and her father is the father to her own children. Precious doesn't really know how to stick up for herself with out threatening or fighting. She wasn't an avarage weight girl but thats because her mom will make her eat till she can't eat no more.
In the begginning of the movie you see her get kicked out of her high school and put into an alernative school when she gets there you soon learn she can't read and she doesn't have the self easteem and doesn't know how to push herself to read because she has been told shes a nobody by her mother.
At the school she gets a teacher Ms.Rain. She teaches precious how to read and write and she does that by giving her a notebook and telling her just too put anything in it does't have to be right doesn't have to be wrong.
Then you learn that precious is pregnant again. Shes not alone like she use to be she has friends now the people in her class become close to her as so does her teacher who pushes her to greater and better things for herself.
Throughout this she is seeing a social worker so her mother can get money and most of the time she would lie to Mrs. Weiss just so she could get the money. But then Precious cracks and explains that her first child doesn't live with her but lives with her grandmother and explains how her mother treats her. So now shes no longer recieving money.
After having the baby she goes home and a HUGE argument with her mom and ends up leaving because he mother tries to attack her worse then ever. She goes to the school and Ms. Rain finds her and puts her in a home where she can take care of her baby and herself while she finishes school.
While shes in the half way house she gets a visit from her mom and explains that her father has died of AIDS after that precious left the room and got checked she was also positive for HIV AIDS.
The notebook that Ms. Rain gave her helped her through it though. And showed she could be strong and independent.

The last part you see of the movie is the meeting with Mrs. Weiss, Precious, and Mary precious's mother. and Precious walks out after her mother asking for her to come back and that she would be a better mother.

my opion:

I really like the movie. It's extremely sad it was acted very well I didn't even know Mariah Carey was the social worker until my mom told me the day after it was just very well acted. I believe it takes alot to act like you have had a tromitizing expierence like that and to be a crazy mother like that. So over all this was a great movie even though it is sad. Its the ugly truth.

Silence of the lambs.

WHY HELLO....

This movie is not one of my all time favorites it creeps me out in ways i would of never thought. I don't have words for this movie just it was freaking weird. This is really one messed up movie that you could ever see. The movie starts with the fbi and a cerial killer[[hanible the canible]] that likes to eat humans and there trying to find "buffilo bill"[[no i did not make this up]]  Which is killing plump young women for the uses of their skin. for reasons people shouldn't know. he ends up kidnapping a famous persons daughter and through out this Hanible is helping as much as he can. hes a very wise person to say the least. but he does cause chaos even though he is jailed. He ends up killing and once again eating people[[yummm...]] This movie was just so creepy i have no words for it. but not so many things that i see on comedy tv make sense. haha.

One Flew Over the Cocos Nest.

This was a very sad but entertaining movie.
This movie is about a psych ward where a man from jail enters. he changes the life's of all the people in there. You meet quite the charaters in the place from the person who goes there to hurting himself to someone to beating his wife to someone who just has home probloms (the most wierd this is you find out they all admit themselves). Then Randy came in and showed the boys how to have a good time but the only thing holding them back was the botch nurse. He really didn't have any probloms but a very bad temper. He brought booze woman and baseball into there live and not to mention losing ciggerets to him in poker. He took the others on a boat and got in trouble. He did not only teach others but others taught him. He learned that they are real people and he starts to feel for all the men there. Even though he tries to escape many times he doesn't suceed and when he finally has the chance he stayed. Then one night when he brought the party to them he brought in booze and his girlfriend and bribed the security guy to let them come in. The next thing you know they are all drunk, Randy tells an inmate that is only a teen to go and have fun with this girl. Thats where things get bad. the next thing you see is the evil nurse walking in. The men are all punished but doesn't end there the young man who was in the room with the women was caught and she threatended to call his mom and tell her what happened. They took him into another room to calm him down but a fight arose between the nurse and randy and while securtity was gone the kid killed himself thinking they were going to call his mom. after that randy is taken away and is given a labotomy and his the closest person to him smothered him with a pillow and took his life.

I really did like this movie,
I would say totally watch it, you really do learn life is all about the little things.

FORREST GUMP!!

It's a lengthy movie when you look at the time but when you watch it you don't notice the time fly.


Forrest Gump isn't that old of a movie.
      The movie is about Forrest Gump who is played by Tom Hanks. In the movie he plays off as not the most smartest person in the world. This movie touched me cause it shows that you don't have to be intelegent to figure out things in life. Because, through out the whole movie it showed his life in parts but as you learn hes sitting on a bench telling his story to people who are waiting for the bus.
  The movie sticks with a plot. It shows Forrest from young to old.
Every part in the story shows his undieing love for Jenny played by Robin Wright who threw out the movie didn't know exactly what she wanted from Forest until the end of the movie when she finally contacts him to tell him he has a son.
   I don't want to go through the whole plot because that just kills the whole movie for people that still have to watch but this movie really shows how a person that isn't exactly not the smartest person in the world can learn so many things from just living life.
   This movie did make me cry but seriously i cried at the end of monsters inc. when boo went back home. So how am i suppose to say if this is a sad movie or not but it is very touching. You also kinda notice what you are going to learn in life. 
  But this movie goes to show you can do whatever you put your mind too.


but the one thing that i have to say,"life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get"

i would have to say my favorite thing i have ever done is taken part in a haunted house for the past 4 years.

I love it and i was hoping this class could help me with my acting and getting more into character.
